Demos are the most tricky software to make it run on WinUAE, that depends how you configure it, to have a better emulation, although it could present some problems with some specific effects, or timing synchronization. I spent some hours to run every Demo listed on Spanish Demoscene Archive of Amiga Skool to capture screenshots for the web, and i know the problems you will find to run some demos.

For this reason, i made this web, is a guide to setup a working WinUAE for the Spanish Demoscene Archive, and make WinUAE as portable app. A set of configurations files for each demo is included with the best configuration found.

Firstly, you will need to download these packages:

WinUAE 1.5.3
WinUAE_addon
Workbench Replacement Hard Disk
Demos and intros from Spanish Demoscene Archive.
And obviously Kickstart 1.3 and Kickstart 3.1 (not available here)

You can put all files on the same folder, i made an installer script to make automatic this process, or you can follow manual installation.

After download all required files, you can start the process, first unpack WinUAE 1.5.3 where you want, in order to have WinUAE portable, don't execute now, it is the last step.

Unpack WinUAE_addon.zip and wrhd.zip on the same folder of WinUAE.

Unpack all demos from Spanish Amiga Demoscene you want on WinUAE\Demos folder.

Copy your kickstart 1.3 and 3.1 as kick13.rom and kick31.rom on WinUAE folder.

Then you can start WinUAE.

Now you can load the configuration of the Demo you want to see, that's very simple.
